About

The Sentiero degli Dei, or Path of the Gods, is a roughly 8-kilometre trail linking the hamlet of Bomerano, above Agerola, with Nocelle, a hillside village reached by steps above Positano. Legend holds that gods walked this ridge to help Ulysses past the sirens' rocks below. The path traces the mountainside between roughly 600 and 300 metres of elevation, with the Li Galli islands, Capri and the string of coastal towns visible below on clear days. At Colle Serra the trail forks, and the lower branch is generally preferred for the wider views.
