About
Every morning at the old harbor in Mykonos Town, the island's remaining fishermen lay out the night's catch on marble slabs under a triangular canvas awning, a few steps from the blue-domed church on the water. Locals shop here for fresh fish and produce before the tourist crowds arrive, and it's one of the few places on the island where Petros, the legendary pelican, still waits for scraps as fishermen clean their catch, a tradition going back decades. There's no formal building, just stalls, ice and marble counters by the sea.
